At Minera Frisco we have integrated ecotechnologies into our processes that allow us to use energy and resources more efficiently. We have implemented domestic residual water treatment plants in each of our mines and also have closed water networks in the process of mineral development, which contributes to the reduction of first-use water consumption.
We are conscious that the sustainable management of water requires the participation of all users, which is why the prevention of the contamination of water, its treatment, and the efficient use and saving of water are fundamental guidelines in our operation and a priority issue in our environmental actions.
On the subject of ecotechnologies, we also installed solar-rechargeable lamps. We are also substituting conventional lighting for energy-saving LED technology, which contributes to the decrease of greenhouse
(G) in the atmosphere.
